WHOAH! Did anyone else here catch THIS typical Right Wing "dirty trick?"
I just responded to one of my "constituents" who'd emailed me alerting that the great progessive website MoveOn.Org, has suddenly gone "bible thumper."

http://www.move-on.org/

I suggested he take out the hyphen, and then "you'll get where I think you wanna be:"

http://www.moveon.org/

Still, I wanted to post a heads up, though. Some of my important online sources have been hacked as of late, and I wouldn't put it past the Wing-Nuts to have sabotaged MoveOn.

Turns out, it merely looks like it's a typical Right Wing Republican "dirty tricks" scheme to create a website with an identical name to that of the progressive websites that seek to inform of of the truth....

1. In the same vein...
... I thought that it was interesting that when I was trying to reach Mark Crispin Miller's blog Saturday night, when I simply typed in what I thought was close to the correct URL, up popped:

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/blogspot.com

and then a "Not found" message. Well, no shit, I wasn't going to find MCM's blog on the gasbag's site.

When I checked Google, and found that the URL I'd typed in was correct, I tried the link directly from the Google page, and it worked correctly.

Many peculiar things going on. Pays to look at the connection details.

Cheers.

3. I'd say it was a mere coincidence
if the subject matter had anything to do with moving on.

5. Not only is the name 'similar'
...but the 'look and feel' is practically identical. The exact same graphic is used at the top of the page, and the left hand side-bar graphics are identical as well. This is a blatent, and unashamed rip-off of the moveon.org website. No chance in hell that it's 'coincidence'. :puke:

7. Please ALERT moveon - they can take legal action
And if nothing else, they should be aware of this, if they are not already.
