Need Help On Prop 53 Vote on Tuesday
Proposition 53 is supposed to reallocate monies for California's aging infrastructure, without new taxes. Advocates are claiming that the money will not come from schools, but where is the money coming from. It makes me a little nervous, I am wondering whose pockets are going to be lined, and what services are being sacraficed.

1. I believe Prop. 53 allocates a set % of the CA budget for infrastructure
I think it takes too much power from the legislature so I'm voting no. Our state representatives are elected to decide what goes in the budget, I'd hope they could do their job and not have their hands tied by mandatory budgetary allocations.

That having been said, we do need to spend more on infrastructure. I just don't know if it should be at the expense of all the other budget items.
