Inthe USA Today article "DeLay: Bush credibility issue overblown": "Bush said the United States is working overtime to prove Saddam Hussein was developing weapons of mass destruction before the United States invaded Iraq."

If I'm not mistaken I read a couple of weeks ago that efforts to find WMD were slowing down.

I figure they've realized there were no WMDs and haven't been for about 5 years so now they figure they can find some kind of evidence to pass off as WMD programs (not actually WMDs but they kinda sorta wanted WMDs) and everything will be okay.
