As a Buddhist, the Dali Lama is important to me for obvious reasons. However, he is also a man of great wisdom. You'll come away with some things to really think about after you've heard him speak.

when a group of Sufis had an audience with His Holiness the Dalai Lama. One member of the group asked for the differences between Buddhism and Sufism. His Holiness replied,

"In Buddhism, nothing is. In Sufism, everything is. Same thing, no difference.
