What's Going On With The Freedom Walk?
Has anyone heard any news from DC?

I wrote to a few people and offered to design picket signs as I was unable to attend but got no replies (it seemed noone was interested.)

If anyone hears anything throughout the day about this goose step for "freedom" please post.

Thx!

4. They must have figured that now is not the time
to try and connect 9-11 and Iraq the way they planned. They should go hide under a rock. Four years later and no Bin Laden AND the WTC site is still a pile of dirt AND people died unnecessarily in the Gulf Coast AND soldiers die in Iraq and Afghanistan unnecessarily. 9-11 is a day to remember all of those people that this administration KILLED. The victims of their negligence deserve our prayers today. God help us all.

5. NBC4 (Washington D.C.) has details of Rummy's parade
http://www.nbc4.com/091101/4944557/detail.html

I'd post the info here but the copyright on the website prohibits it. Let's just say it is still on the schedule as planned, believe it or not.

23. Only 4 paragraphs in the whole article, LOL
So, this is the new news? Write the articles so small that any excerpting starts looking like wholesale copying.

The article is copyright. All articles are automatically copyright. There is such a thing as fair use. Fair use is actually much more restrictive than most people think, but even I think that a small amount of excerpting is fair, provided that a proper link is included. DU policy is basically "no more than four paragraphs".

25. Coverage lasted 15 minutes?
According to the local MSM, media cameras are not allowed along the parade route?

13. They won't cancel it, BUT...
They'll do it, see how it goes, and THEN decide if they're going to make a big deal aobut it.
If more people show up than expected, it'll be all over the evening news.

14. I'm Sorry
I was going to post picket signs as EPS files for download on my site. And then the Sheehan affair began, which led us to the Katrina Incident.

Let's just say I was a little busy.

However, I plan to do it for the 24th (Also, I hope to attend.)

Its just that we are pretty poor over here and it's hard to scrape up money to travel. Plus, our money was better spent giving to Salvation Army and HFH. . .

Ill do my best for the 24th!

20. Here's A Fact
I could smack the piss out of clint black.

I love "tough guy" country singers. They are such PU**IES in real life.

I would never mess around with Johnny Cash, though. I bet he was a real asskicker!
