We've updated the short video compiled by a few Velvet Revolutionaries from Democratic Underground.

It is our hope that this video may serve as the definitive record of what happened in American during the 2004 Presidential Election. It documents -- in a few short minutes -- how your American right to a free, fair and transparent electoral system has been taken from you by the cynical and un-democratic powers-that-be.

This sort of thing should never happen in the world's most important democracy. And yet -- again in 2004 -- it did. Enough is enough.

It's time for the people to take both our country and our democracy back. If you still have any questions about that, please take a look at this video:

Americans have died for the Right to Vote. November 2nd, 2004 will serve as a continuing reminder that we still have a long way to go in this country before every American has that right.

what about the e-voting and fraud? Is there an organized effort to ban those machines on a national level? Take back the local election committees? All the foot work in the world won't matter if the Repubs can simply cheat to win elections.

29. Join efforts in your state on election reform. Educate BOE officials of

dangers of machines. In Oio we have 4 voter initiatives that are aimed at making election more fair. Reform Ohio Now is the group that is sponsoring these initiatives. Also write letters to the editors to educate the public. Join us on the Election Results and Discussion forum (we used to have a presence on the front page :( .)

I voted in Nevada-first there was the voter outreach scam. destroying Democratic party registrations and the Repug judge would not allow those people to re-register- then, I thought all of Nevada was papered machines--NOT! Where my in-laws voted they only had two paper machines and one was down--all others were paperless. And, where I voted, they had as many paper machines as paperless, and many, many people were voting on the paperless machines!!!! Paper ballots only-the hell with machines!!!!

You are correct to suggest paper, but I would like to suggest HCPB-HAND COUNTED PAPER BALLOTS!

Do not trust the optiscan machines. Their central tabulators can be manipulated!

I wrote to Sen. Reid last year about the voting machines. If Canada can have paper ballots, why can't we. Who cares if we don't get the results until the next day. I would rather have my vote count, instead of a bogus, PR MSM telling America who they chose for "We the people"

so I'l make a deal with you--- I take care of Jersey--- you take care of your home state-

Bill Bored takes care of NY--- Truckin takes care of CONN. Rigel99 she does Ohio

Someday folks our investigation of the fraudulent election will become part of commonly known history in the U.S. (hopefully shortly after the Fitzgerald indictments, the American people will be ready to hear the truth!)
