14. Okay, found a Yahoo news (Reuters) story with the full quote:
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/nm/20050910/us_nm/cheney_dc_4

Cheney held up Texas, which took in tens of thousands of evacuees from Louisiana in places like the Houston Astrodome, as a model of effective crisis management.

"There are a lot of lessons we want to learn out of this process in terms of what works," Cheney said.

"I think we are in fact on our way to getting on top of the whole Katrina exercise," he said, but added, "we've got a lot of work ahead of us obviously."

32. In plain sight. Applegrove- that's how they operate.
Take a look at this...a response regarding FEMA aid.
"Not one of them mentioned any of it," Cheney said in response to a question. "They're all very thankful where they find themselves right now."

He said the federal government will help state and local governments pay for costs of educating children evacuated from their homes, "so that the burden doesn't fall totally on the local school system."

Yikes. It can't happen soon enough. These rat bastards are way out of control..

Peace.

noses, stealing America from us. They just killed, with cold deliberation one of our most treasured cities. Joe Allbaugh who went to Baghdad and sold it to highest bidders now has his filthy hands on New Orleans. So frigging obvious. Look how quickly they came in, like carrion, with those poor broken bodies still lying there.

33. Can someone help me fill in the blanks...what are they "exercising" for?
An "exercise" implies that someone is rehearsing or perfecting their skills. An exercise is something from which you learn--and apply what you learned to some grander plan or activity.

Ummmm. Ok. That's. SCARY.

If Katrina is an "exercise", what in the frick are they rehearsing for?

Also--I think this was a TOTAL slip. "Exercise" is probably a word they constantly use in their private meetings. Just like Rumsfeld, when he "accidentally" said that Flight 93 was shot down, or when a politician said, "Barney fag". That's how they speak all of the time, among each other. Every once in a while they slip up.

They've obviously had numerous conversations about Katrina's aftermath and how this is an "exercise"--like a rehearsal. I imagine they'll be "testing" certain ridiculous, racist, inhumane, unConstitutional ideas that they have in mind. They'll float them up, and see how the public reacts.

Remember when Trent Lott slipped up after 9/11 and said, "Now we can do all of the things we've always wanted to do!" referring to the Patriot Act, etc. NOLA is another opportunity for them.

NOLA--a city that will be bulldozed to the ground--will be their great experiment....their "exercise."

So, what are they practicing for?

They certainly can't cause another hurricane and the decimation of other cities.

36. Many have said the FEMA delays were purposeful
Meaning, this is a social experiment, and an execise for what they and their progeny intend to do to all of us, eventually.

Just another Freudian slip from the most evil people EVER to rule America.

I have no doubt they have learned many things by purposefully neglecting NO.

And also, they have helped to forever eliminate a Democratic stronghold, and that's ALWAYS a bonus for them.

55. From the beginning, I felt this was by design
The delay of 5 days getting supplies into New Orleans. I don't think it was incompetence at all. They knew chaos would prevail in a volatile atmosphere. And they wanted to see how the American people would react. They don't even care that we know what they are doing. It is correct, saying as fooj did, They do it in plain site.

New Orleans. How quickly Nagin purchased a home in Dallas. How quickly Bushco's cronies are getting big contracts. I think that they are going to have much of this backfiring on them. I am getting the distinct impression that all of the toxicity is going to make a large part of NOLA uninhabitable for quite some time.
