C-SPAN is getting raped by the FCC and Powell. Stop them now.

1. The original must carry law
is bad enough...any two bit station that meets a certain broadcast threshold can demand that the cable companies within a certain range of miles give them air time.

The content doesn't matter, the wishes of the subscribers don't matter.

A station showing 24 hour/day of strictly local town business can demand to be shown in a multi-state viewing area, taking up a station that could be showing something the subscribers in those areas want to see, but cannot.
