Ed Helms was brilliant. He earned his pay for the year with that.

11. Plastic grass?
Edited on Wed Sep-07-05 10:17 PM by Cleita
Don't these morans know that plants absorb moisture, keep the dirt in place, and keep us cool in the heat? Plastic grass is no different than cement.

*Throwing my hands up in disgust*

21. Prob'ly worse than cement.
Big rainstorm, the sewers clog, the dirt which is no longer netted together by a root structure washes out and you have a gooey plastic muddy mess.

If you honestly don't want to mow as often, plant low maintenence plants. Daylilies and irises are impossible to kill, easy to start, and spread with ridiculous force. There's not a summer someone doesn't have a wheelbarrow full of the cancer-like underground bulbs to give away because they need to thin them out. I had two boxes of the roots and planted them under the edge of the house to cut down on the mud-splash from the rain. One of them had a big chunk of turf...I didn't even bury it -- tossed it down and it rooted itself. Make some paths with stones or patio blocks to enjoy and walk through when they flower in the spring.

19. Wow. The Sam Jackson segment was really edited down.
A few abrupt jump cuts. Did the interview just go on too long or did he say something they didn't want to air?
