Memes are SO easy to spread among the rightwingers;
how fast has "blame game" caught on?

Faster than any meme I've seen before.

There's either a really good PR machine at work, or an extraordinarily stupid constituency, or (as I suspect) a combination of both. With more credit going to the stupidity than to the brilliance of the PR machine.

3. As posted elsewhere:
The RWers chant:

"Liberals are playing the blame game, but the Governor of Louisiana and the Mayor of New Orleans are clearly at fault in this disaster"

Repeat 1000 times, or until Rush Limabugh or Hannity's next show starts, which ever comes first, and you get your next meme to spread.

4. Well said, indeed. We're dealing with parrots, aren't we?
People who can only repeat what they've been told to say, because they've never had an original thought in their lives.

7. It's the RW PR machine. Rove's FAX machine. Goes to all the RW
radio jerks. Use (latest catch phrase) repeat. Use, repeat.

Propaganda at it's finest. The sheep look up.

9. You got it
Rush is usually the leader, then he spouts the talking points, the other RW radio guys know to follow Rush, then it makes Fox News & CNN and the next day it's in the Washington Times & on Moon's UPI network and then into the "mainstream"

12. "The sheep look up." Is that a John Brunner reference?

I MUST go back and re-read some of his books. I'd not be surprised if there was something in at least one of them that's relevant to what we're seeing now.
