1. Honestly, I can't stand Andrew Jackson.

Take away the D from his name (and that Dem Party was nothing like today's) and you have someone remarkably similar to George W. Bush.

Ronnie Raygun If it weren't for his "government is the problem not the solution" philosphy we might not be in the mess we're in today and we MIGHT not have the world's biggest POS Idiot as president right now.

18. Don't go bashing Ford, okay? He had the kind of simple,
common human decency that would get him kicked out of the republican party these days.

4. I would go with Reagan because of Iran Contra - selling weapons to
enemies, trafficing drugs for cash to purchase weapons. That whole sweet story

I think Ulysses Grant was the worst ever. Bush is horrible, but Grant was a combination of incompetent and corrupt even Bush couldn't match. And yes, I'm talking about being worse than someone who started a dunderheaded war. Grant was THAT bad.

20. but give Grant his due
At least Grant was a bonafide leader as a general in the Union army. Yes, he surrounded himself with all manner of snakes and cheats. But the chimp has mass murder on his resume - UG can't touch this.

8. I think that Reagan started this whole mess.
The total lack of accountability really enveloped the entire Reagan episode. He fooled people into believing fantasy as reality, while he systematically looted the country and started the downward spiral that we are now in. Nixon was a real charmer too.

However, I couldn't decide if it was his first or second term that made him the second worst President ever...
