Killing them softly with his song....

August 30, 2005

He sang as if he knew me in all my dark despair.
And then he looked right through me as if I wasn't there.
But he just came to singing, singing clear and (w)rong.

Strumming my pain with his fingers,
Singing my life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song,
Killing me softly with his song,
Telling my whole life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song ...

1. 2nd verse...
I felt all flushed with fever, embarrassed by this clown.

And still he kept on playing, eating some cake and golfing.

Strumming my pain...
