The minute a Republican mentions 'blame game'
in an interview, the reporter should turn off the camera, close his note book and end the interview. It's the only way to stop the propaganda.

1. yeah like that would ever happen
Last night on Keith Olbermann's show some said, the City and State were first responders. Even Keith didn't retort but they are ONLY responders. Or yeah maybe they are first responders but where were the second, third, and fourth responders, if you have first responders you need some one to help as back up, if you are drowning, literally and figuratively. NOLA could do it alone or the State can't do it alone.

2. OK, Let's fix the problem:
Fire the incompetents and put qualified people in place.

Didn't congress confirm Michael Brown's prince-hood in hearings? Everyone who voted 'aye' without caring about his (utter lack of) experience is part of the problem.

The next opportunity to fire as many as possible is during the mid-terms.

What the dem party needs before then is a complete slate of experienced, get-the-job-done leaders to show us all that they won't let us down too.

Government should be there for everyone, not just the privileged, and the party that shows it will keep that principle in the foreground cannot fail, can it????

4. Your last sentence (especially) makes just too much sense to work.
But I'd sure as hell love to test the theory out.

(and welcome to du)

5. No, just ask them if they think this is a fucking game.
Or tell them it's not a game, it's taking personal responsibility.
