What should Oprah do?
A few weeks ago she gave him a spot on her national TV show - appearing with his sweet little liberal wife. It showed what a fine, outstanding, upright family man he was.

Will she now - before the election - give equal time to the women he assulted?

Or will she let him come back on, to defend his honor?

1. "a fine, outstanding, upright family man"
I know you say this with sarcasm, but why is it that his little slip of the tongue - "A pump is better than coming" comment - which cleary horrified Maria didn't garner more attention? I couldn't believe he said it - that he didn't have enough intelligence to not use a statement like that on the Oprah show of all places, in front of an audience of mostly conservative women. This should be a good indicator to all those who are supporting him that 1) he's not that smart and 2) he's a live wire. I think he seriously thought that comment would help prove his point that all those things he said were "outrageous" and simply to get more attention for body building. I'm thoroughly disgusted with him and plan to protest with CodePink this afternoon outside his campaign office.

8. Arnold has very little self control
I think Schwarzenengger will only be a continuing embarrassment to CA and to the Republican party. I'm sure the GOP will spin his lewdness the way they spin Bush's ignorance, i.e. treat him like a precious little toddler who just can't help himself, and pretend it makes him more like one of us as opposed to an "elite insider" with manners and intelligence.

2. We should send Oprah packing with Annhold the pig...
boycott her show and send her thousands of letters telling her what she really is; a woman hater. I'm already sick of Oprah and her idiot Dr. Phil. They make billions on other's pain and suffering. Good Bye Oprah.

4. What kind of person would buy a DIET book written by
Dr. Phil who must be at least 50 pounds overweight?

These women have been brainwashed, or was there a brain there to start with?

18. Yes. They are full-fledged members of the Patriarchal society.
Sad, but true.

And their money further insulates them from any real need to objectivly look at how they perpetuate a dysfunctional, male-dominated system.

3. WSOD (What should Oprah do?)
I suppose I would have to say, "Who cares what she does?" I lost a great deal of respect for Ms. Winfrey a long time ago. Having Ahnold on her show (great PR and campgain advertising at no cost)just drove another nail in the coffin for me.

7. I agree...she is a total rich phony.
Edited on Fri Oct-03-03 01:50 PM by Ripley
Her book club thing was just for ratings. She is self-righteous in her way of deciding what is good and what ain't.

I have only seen her show maybe 3 times in the last 10 years, but she really sickens me when she talks about "deals on bed linens...and Ooohh those t-shirt sheets are so cool." Riiiiiiiiiigggggggggggghhhhhhhtt. This richest woman in America buys cotton sheets on sale.

:grr:

intimidate the media any time any criticism is offered or exposition of Arnold's lies and criminal behavior is proferred. I think Californians won't fold over as easily as the Washington establishment press does though. Also, Oprah should set the record straight if she is to have any credibility as a spokesperson for the average American in the future.

her show, 2 all women everywhere who believe clumsy, idiot males do not have the right 2 paw women. Then she should apologize to all Californians 4 her shameless pimping by giving steroid boy her entire show.

24. She shouldn't give him another forum
If any of the women are willing to be on
Oprah's show, then she should offer them
that opportunity.

It would be good if someone would file
charges against him if the statute of
limitations hasn't run out on their date of
victimization.
