during the '64 Alaskan earthquake, my dad was in the Army
and as soon as the quaking stopped, he stopped by our quarters to see if we were all ok and to tell us that his unit was being deployed to the downtown Anchorage area to perform rescue, evacuation and guard stores, etc. It was immediate. We didn't see him for days. There was no four day wait, it was immediate. I feel the same way I did the morning I watched the second plane hit the tower, we are being manipulated ...by the neocons, again. I really want to see Karl Rove do prison time along with Condi, Cheney, Bush and the rest of the bastards.

1. The Plainfield IL Tornado in mid-90's...Hubby was there & said the NG
was on the spot in half an hour--hundreds of them--he says they were "there so fast it was scary".

Good times ,good times.
