Bush: "Rush is a great American"
This ridiculous praise for one of the most venomous, hateful buffoons in American is a scandal in itself. Somehow, with so much rightwing doodoo hitting so many fans, it's gotten lost.

President Bush expressed support of radio star Rush Limbaugh in conversations with top staff on Thursday, a senior administration source told the DRUDGE REPORT.

"Rush is a great American," the president said of the beleaguered host, who has championed the conservative movement for decades. "I am confident he can overcome any obstacles he faces right now."

4. Frankly, it sounds like fluff and that Bush
doesn't even know what he's supposed to be talking about.

I bet he was briefed and slept through it, then uttered a vague generalization that could be used for anyone facing adversity.

Just replace "Rush" with the name of any other "beleaguered" person and Bush's statement still works.

9. Who is the "senior admin source"?
Another "leak"? And for what reason? To shore up the racist drug addicted base?

I do not doubt that flyboy said this - but wonder at why it made it to Drudge.

12. If you define "great American" as a NAZI slug pig.
By Bushler's definition, Hitler was a great American.

13. Okay now I'm convinced Rove is popping pills
I can't believe he would let W say that. Aligning themselves with a perceived racist? Rove must be out of it.

I guess it's not so easy to govern with all these investigations going on huh?

14. But who's going to see Dummy's quote?
Basically, just the "morans" who listen to and believe Rush, and who think that his ouster at ESPN was motivated by political correctness. The vast majority of folks won't see what President Stupidhead said, or will think that he's expressing a nice sentiment.

I had a rib tickling sentiment about Rush and Karl getting sentenced to adjoining cells so that they can peer into each other's sweaty, straining faces while they get rogered by their cell mates, but it doesn't seem appropriate somehow. Forget I said anything.

15. That trash was said from the mouth of the WORST American ever!
Yet I am still confident this country can overcome the obstacles it is facing right now.

Well, not really. Corporate power is at an all-time high, the citizens are overworked and overstressed, many for ridiculously small amounts of pay and under ridiculous conditions, a $7 trillion deficit by June 2004, corporations outsourcing jobs overseas, instigating wars out of circumstances it allowed to happen, instigating wars for false reasons, trying to instigate wars out of inflated reasons and by angering adversaries, disbanding itself from the international community (and why isn't UN more assertive in its response against us?), the "president" has openly spoken in FAVOR of corporate outsourcing, how much more do I need to say, not that I've said more than enough already?!
