Tell me I'm paranoid. Please
Some event will happen in the next couple weeks, then be blamed on Iran, to give people someone to focus on rather than the administration. Of course the administration will handle the event admirably, and people who are tired emotionally (most people) will then support the administration and say ok attack Iran.

Please tell me I'm being paranoid. Thank you and peace.

1. It's normal to be on edge during times like these.
Trust in your country and trust that it will be ok.

Peace.

3. We all trust in our country...
It is our country's leaders we do not trust.

2. I suspect that was the plan.

Nothing like that old rally-round-the-prez kick in the polls a terra attack will give ya.

But I hope the unmitigated disaster in New Orleans will tie their hands.

If not, Bush is even more of a moron than I give him credit for, and that's going some.

on edit: bad typin'

6. This is probably
cynical and Tinfoil Hat but I've wondered if in the next few weeks, once they have NO empty and are repairing the levees properly they'll find "evidence" that it was a terra'ist attack that broke the levees, neglect and nature

9. I read in the paper (SeattleTimes) today the the problem is we're prepared
for a terrorist attack, and this was natural disaster, so the bureaucracy didn't kick into gear right away. I yelled at the paper and FEMA and Homeland Security that I am sure someone would be happy to go set off a bomb if it meant they'd get help faster.

If this were a terrorist attack, they'd have responded faster, is basically what they were saying. I am worried about a distracting "incident", one that "we" can actually do something about, like bomb someone.

10. After Cheney asking Pentagon for contingency Nuke Iran attack
I'd say, your not paranoid, just perceptive especially since Katrina has made Bush look totally incompetant and very bad for the GOP. Thousands will have died because of Bush's slow response.

Sometimes you got to get away from this shit.

11. Actually you could be right on with your assessment.
What better way for Bush to not only continue his agenda, but a 'terrorist' incident now ..... could be publicized as 'hitting us (USA) while we are down'(Rove) think that would rally support from the American people? Hang in there, just speculation. Peace.

12. That is it. Focus the anger that is now against the administration
focus it against "the enemy". I guess it is normal to think these things, I hate it.

without a clue and don't have the time of day to keep up on things, motives, truth in general. Can't distinguish a lie from the truth. And are just downright blind to what they don't want to see. Living in denial, spoiled .. would give up their rights because they are 'Sceeered' (scared) and kept that way by Bushie. You and I know it, and most of DU. Actually what's been running through my head is that 'Bushie' had some plan (before the Hurricane hit) for something to 'take place' in Sept anyway to get us into Iran. If Rove frames it right, this could only further flame their fire like I said earlier. But in the end they will be tried on War Crimes against humanity. Again, keep the faith, never give up, never surrender, Peace. :)

edited to add: The delayed response time to the hurricane? Could it have been partly incompetence, and partly re-evaluation to figure out what they were going to do now ($) with Iran attack plans already on the table? Again pure speculation, but I've seen enough from this administration to speculate just about anything from them... Peace.

13. not just bush, but i think that fits the republican MO to a 't'...
but awareness is accelerating as well & so here's hoping apathy to be taking the backseat sooner than later; now is not the time to be going all limp on any of these matters of great import imo

20. There must be a reason
why Bush isn't even pretending to give a fuck about this "big storm". So which is it?

1. Fitzgerald has the goods on him and his crime syndicate. He's going down and he knows it.

2. What you fear is currently being planned.
