What was Bush's response time when Jeb needed help?
When hurricane Ivan hit Florida, didn't Bush respond BEFORE damage was done? The right-wingers are trying to say Governor Blanco didn't fill out her paperwork properly--did Jeb have to jump through hoops to get aid? I don't think so. The rules are different in this country for rich people and the Bush family.

9. They were in immediately for an election year
of course FEMA still screwed it all up. Don't forget we had hurricanes Jeane and Francis too.

We did have plenty of MREs, water, and ice available as long as you could drive to the distribution areas.

PENSACOLA NAVAL AIR STATION — On Sunday, hope came to Pensacola.

Three days after Hurricane Ivan pummelled the Panhandle, it came in the form of church services explaining to the weary why such catastrophe had befallen them.

Greg Lovett/The Palm Beach Post

President Bush arrives at Pensacola Naval Station on Sunday to start a tour of the area damaged by Hurricane Ivan.

Hope also came to tiny pockets that had electricity restored — meaning a hot meal, or maybe, a hot shower.

And hope came with President Bush, who brought the promise of financial help and even a pledge to help one resident with her insurance company.

8. I know the answer to this LESS THAN 40 HRS. from landfall
Hurricane Charley struck at the 3 oclock hour in the afternoon of August 13. August 14 Bush said at a campaign stop in Iowa he was going to be in Florida by morning. He was on the ground by 7:30AM on the 15th.
