Excellent Salon article for the Wilson/Plames about suing the white house
To to www.salon.com

excerpt"

"Regardless of whether or not a special prosecutor is selected, I believe that Ambassador Wilson and his wife -- like the DNC official once did -- should file a civil lawsuit, both to address the harm inflicted on them, and, equally important, to obtain the necessary tools (subpoena power and sworn testimony) to get to the bottom of this matter. This will not only enable them to make sure they don't merely become yesterday's news; it will give them some control over the situation. In the case of the DNC's civil suit, Judge Charles Richey, a good Republican, handled it in a manner that was remarkably helpful to the Nixon reelection effort. But any judge getting a lawsuit from Wilson and Plame today would be watched a lot more carefully.

The Dems did this to Nixon for Watergate and Dean said they almost
came apart dealing with it. The suit itself almost broke the Watergate story open.

1. This is such a good idea, I think it's only a matter of time
before they sue. This is a must read!

2. I haven't read it all the way through, yet...
But, I'm pretty sure that Wilson's wife would have to leave Federal government employment in order to sue. While she might not have much to lose, now, (in our view), she still might not like that option....

Nonethess, I hope they do sue...

3. But consider the pay-off. Deliberately putting an agent into danger.
Wonder how much that is worth to a jury of ordinary Americans? Not to mention the publicity and book deals . . .

5. Anything to get these bastards UNDER OATH!!!
THAT, my friends will most certainly be the beginning of the end. Because that's the one point those assholes cling to about how terrible Clinton was. But he lied UNDER OATH!!! Yeah, about having an affair. BUT HE LIED UNDER OATH!!! Okay, fine. Turnabout is fair play, just like Mrs. Wilson was "fair game."

7. I agree - we must get Rove and Bush under oath
That would be the end of the right wing for a long time.
