Something about black people in NO just didn't head the warnings to leave and it has nothing to do with being poor.

Jack said "I'd bet, even though I have no way of knowing for sure, that the majority of the people trapped in NO are poor! The majority of NO is Black, but those with the means of leaving, I bet just got outa Dodge. Having no car, and no means to leave certainly played a part!"

I know a lot of DUers dislike Jack, and he is an old curmudgeon most of the time, but he's really saying it like it is today!
