I would say as soon as everyone is out of NO and in safe shelters
Saving life is priority #1, even though it isn't Bush's first priority.

3. 24 September
I hear there's a big protest in DC that day. Perhaps people could organize others in other cities on the same day.

4. I was going to say the same thing
By that time the immediate crisis will be over.

The true negligence of this administration's response should be sinking in.

Make it not just an anti-war protest - make it a massive ANTI-BUSH prostest.

15. By that time maybe they'll have counted all the dead in NO ...
but probably not. I expect people will be pretty well pissed off by then. I just hope there is a big turnout.

6. first why don't you.........
find a way to donate time, blood or money to a
orginization that can help this problem. Then
once you've completed those tasks you can continue
your empty threats of violent takeover.

9. Uhmmm there was no violence implied in the OP at all.
Why would you misconstrue his words so?
Or are you against protest?

7. This is what they want you to do
FEMA, the vacant prison camps, Pentagon ready to administer martial law, consider these items. Consider Bush strumming the guitar at a photo-op. We think he's stupid and heartless, which he certainly is, but he has some of the best, most effective PR people to steer him and build his image. Those people who came up with the axis of evil and the "mission accomplished" feat, they're not stupid. They see Bush's ratings fall through the floor and they let him play the guitar on TV? Let me repeat: those people are not stupid, they know what these images are going to do. Apparently this is what they want.

8. Well...uh...well, I...I would like to, I really would, but, after all....
...this is Labor Day weekend and...well...we're going to have a barbeque...and...well, there might be a really, really good game on TeeVee, and...well...I don't know, there's just soooo much going on this weekend...might be some Labor Day specials...you know, maybe "Barbeques of the Rich and Famous"...on TeeVee...and, I thought about having some friends over...kinda sit around and have a beer or two...it's Labor Day weekend, after all...you know...sleep in, and, maybe go out to lunch and to the malls to buy some stuff at the sales...so, not much time this weekend...maybe next weekend? Really, next weekend would be much, much better!

12. And this is...
....exactly what Bushco banks on. Like it or not, we the people, permitted this illegitimate regime to seize power and, thus far we've allowed them to retain it. Revolution doesn't have to be violent, but it must be done en masse and sustained---weekend protest marches aren't gonna get it.

13. Yep, this is the boiling point.
Not even our elected officials seem to want to do anything when the time is overdue. I'm not exactly a big supporter of the dems in office these days, but at some point you have to think there are a few truly decent ones out there in a position to do something. I say we wait until the big date to see if anyone does anything first. I'm sure the administration will do something on sept 11th to further try things, so we'll just have to see.

It's just so hard to contain your rage when you see things as they are happening now.
