FEMA pulling out rescue boats. The government has failed her people. And it's going to get worse, and not just in NOLA. Never mind Bush being MIA. I fear that intrstate comerce is going to break down. Gas prices will run up the cost of interstate transport (if not shut it down) which means we may all be facing food and medical supply shortages.

I can't believe the Administration has turned down relief help from other countries--from Canada even, for God's sake!

I'm very worried, Folks. This could be the fall of the empire.

Not the Iraqi people. No difference, really. Oil is more important than people in both places.
