Let's face it, that one comment wasn't enough to warrant forcing his resignation. What did cause it was a combination of his ignorance of the game he was supposed to be commenting on coupled with his comments regarding minority coaches being interviewed for jobs and this latest statement. Add up all the small faux pas and you have yourself an employee who just isn't a 'good fit' for the company.

My bet is if the drug thing blows over, we'll see Rush on another sports program within the year or writing a sports column at the very least.
