Lets try to Link TraitorGate and Rush together/Ethics
Edited on Thu Oct-02-03 10:03 AM by Homer12
I'm serious though they are two different issues and scandals they both show that when politics and people feel free to be hypocrites that they are not ethicaly nor morally justified to act in the opposite manner.

Rush and Buscho have the same problem that their ends-justify-the-means political philosiphy are ultimatly self-destructive.

I say anytime we discuss it we link to two becuase it will keep Traitorgate alive. They can blame CLinton all they want, this is their tactic that they use all the time; But, when we do it at least everything is current, unlike the raving Clinton haters who stand on shakey ethical grond and that time has passed them by.

1. I think they are linked but for different reasons. . .
. . .the Right is taking some major hits this week. This is a damaging week. If Rush goes down or is severely damaged the Right losses its strongest advocate.

2. Bush has set a poor example of covering for failure
and never admitting he was wrong. His incompetence and shady connections to the Bin Ladens family allowed 911 to happen, and the Republicans "I'm always right" attitude and win-by-any-means-necessary attitude - even illegal and unethnical means - has created the low moral climate that drug offenders like Rush Limbaugh thrive in.

How'd I do?

4. Do not trivalize TreasonGate by linking to Rush
Rush is just a weak man. OK, he is a weak loud mouthed, bigotted, lying lout, but he is not on a par with the outing of an agent and the crippling of US intelligence ability to track dangerous materials.

If is turns out Rush was set up (and I do not belive him innocent at all) do we want TreasonGate connected?

Rush is not the malAdministration.

5. It was just a way to keep TreasonGate alive, becuase
Edited on Thu Oct-02-03 10:21 AM by Homer12
the mainstream media acts like a tabloid and soon enough will be giving = time to the Rush story.

By no means is it on par with TreasonGate, but I can see it being overshadowed by Rush while he impales himslef for a time.

I want to keep YelloCakeGate/TreasonGAte/IraqGate/HalliburtonGate, etc...Gate "Alive". Using Rush and his lack of ethics/hypocrisy, in my view, is a way to do it.
