They lied to us, We are NOT prepared for a terrorist attack
This event has clearly shown we ARE NOT prepared for a terrorist attack. How would people be reacting if terrorists blew up these levies and unnaturally caused this? Where did all of our money go? Where are these terrorist departments georgy created? fema? homeland security? where are they?

2. You know the answer already
Over 90% of Homeland Security money went to corporations. And not to build levees or better airplanes either.

3. Did they ever say we were prepared for a terrorist attack?
Duct tape and color codes didn't sound all that assuring to me.

4. The rich elites are prepared
We are fodder we are expendable we defend the rich or we die.

The rulers never cared about us as people. They are ELITISTS,sociopaths they value stuff and winning. Human rights only matter if it's THIERS. THey cared only what we could do FOR them.if we would obey them, jump when they say jump,What we can get for them ,Create FOR them..Now that they got it all,and and have unraveled the DNA and all what do they do? Cull us.And rebuild the world in the image they want a fascist fuedal empire of elites and hopelessly obedient mind controlled slaves.
They wanted what we have that they do not, creativity, beauty, compassion, ect.Because exploiting that has made thier world just about perfect..Now they do not need most of us,so they kill us.

This is what you get when you eleect sociopaths and forget how to judge character and let stuff like the TV or church tell you what a good leader is.

homeland security my ass...its all just a big war machine.

Why in the world would we want to dismantle FEMA if terrorism is so likely?

9. This is a very good point
this disaster has clearly shown that in no way are we prepared, and the response has been achingly slow. Absolutely correct, the rich are off in gated communities somewhere, and the poor are left to fend for themselves.

Oh, is Cheney in his bunker now? Haven't heard much from him or Balloon Head Rove.

10. Those Dept's are waiting to be unleashed on their REAL missions...
...once the "gas crisis" has paralyzed our nation,
and the riots start breaking out in cities the
hurricane never touched.

:tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat:

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I have to believe the
total LACK of response to this crisis is DELIBERATE.
It's been 3 days, fer Chrissakes!

We all knew things might get this bad;
do you really think the people in FEMA and DHS didn't?

11. Well, from one perspective we don't need to be
If you believe either LIHOP or MIHOP, there's no need to worry: our govt will know, as they knew back then, that something's up.

Now, if there are terrorists who slip through and are capable of doing damange, well not to worry there either: our government (Bush&Co.) will find many ways to capitalize on that.

16. Yes! you're right!
I can just see Osama sitting in "his cave" (where he HAS NOT been smoked out, by the way) slapping his forehead and saying "Shit, Allah, all I would have had to do is bomb Lake Pontchartrain (sp?)"

17. Something security experts
Have been discussing for the past few years: The hazard presented by many of the chemical plants in this country: One shoulder-launched missile to the right valve or nozzle, and deadly shit escapes into the atmosphere.
