More BS From Karen Hughes' Speech This Week (She Gets Her Rep Wrong)
snip...........

"I remember one time when he invented one of his words — I think it was 'misunderestimate' ... the same day I had to have a conversation with him about calling the terrorists 'folks,'" she said.

Bush's explanation was that "there are bad folks too," Hughes said. "I said, you know, it just sort of sounds like they're the folks next door, and these are trained killers.

"He must have detected some hesitation on my part about telling him this, because he pulled me aside later and he said, 'I want you to always, always tell me whenever I screw up.'"

She cited that quality of "welcoming disagreement and wanting truth" as a strong point in his leadership style.

snip............

At a news conference with Gov. Rick Perry, Hughes said she supported the GOP drive in Texas to redraw congressional districts in an effort to give Republicans more of an edge. On that subject, she emphasized that she was speaking for herself, "not as a White House official."

Asked who her congressman is, she responded that it's U.S. Rep. Lloyd Doggett, an Austin Democrat, adding, "I don't believe he frequently represents my point of view." Later, she telephoned to say her congressman is actually U.S. Rep. Lamar Smith, R-San Antonio — although she said she believes it used to be Doggett.

snip.........

She says his occasional tongue twisters are a sign that his brain works faster than his mouth.

1. Good Ole' Karen!
I remember reading in Time magazine that the first things she wanted to discuss with the pretzel boy on 9/12/01 were the photo-ops that he could milk from this and the political advantage that was there to be had.

Thank God the administration put their country above political gain. OOOPS, scratch that last one! But at least he didn't get a blow job. THANK GOD!

3. the bottom line is...
that republicans are retarded. period. Anyone who can honestly say with a straight face that Bush is doing a great job has to be making a profit off the good ol' US of A.
