Lakefront airport had National Guard with Helicopters. Where are they?
The unit is Louisiana Army Aviation Support Activity (1st Battalion - 244th Command Aviation)

I'm having a hard time pulling up the LA. Army National Guard site.

Have these guys been deployed overseas?

3. None of the LA national guard unit pages seem to be up.
It might be because of power outages/flooding in NO. Or it could be that someone thought that would be a bad news story so they made the info unavailable...At this point anything is possible.

5. That draft-abstaining Chicken-hawk in Chief
will soon wish he had never heard of Iraq, or Weapons of Mass Destruction! The tide is turning, and the baddest payback will come from those who had supported him so blindly.

7. This silly thing jumped into my mind
Their was once a Czar in Russia that took his army to Paris to bring order to that country when about 75 percent of his own people were serfs that had no rights at all. What an odd thing to pop up!
