CT DUers help me out here - regarding Holy Joe Lieberman
Seeing the state poll numbers * has 33% favorable in CT. This says to me that Joe Lieberman is there for the picking in a primary race - he has been in * pocket forever - so my question is what is going on in CT with regards to Lieberman's reelection - man would I like to see this guy retire.

1. Make huge posters of the photo of kiss/hug between him & Bush

(Can't remember whether it was kiss, hug or both, or something even more intimate, but that should help any potential competitors...)

3. I use to live there, and yes, it would be nice to throw that Bush cheer
leader out of office!!!

First off, I believe him choosing Israel as his first
and foremost citizenship (in heart) over the US is a conflict of interest.

He was part of the Anderson Accounting crookery and played possum
all the way through it.

He is a huge supporter of the US blow & go imperialistic foriegn
policy without cause.

He has backstabbed Gore in 2000 if not more.

I would place him in the same category as Bob Novac.

He is a total disgrace to this Country.

4. I have never liked him
and many of my fellow Nutmeggers feel the same. We'd love to get rid of him.

Unfortunately, he's very firmly entrenched. The Democratic State Central Committee won't do anything because he brings in a lot of money.

I spoke to my local Democratic Town Committee Chair about getting rid of him. She says everyone here hates him, but no one with any standing in the party will take him on.

He does have one challenger for the nomination next year. He's a Political Science professor at Fairfield University. But he's never been elected to public office and has virtually no name recognition.

To give an example of how the party machinery works -- in 1994, when he was up for renomination, I led a demonstration against him at the State Convention. I was bodily ejected from the premises.

He was originally elected when he ran against Lowell Weicker, a maverick Republican, because William F. Buckley and his gang put all their support behind him. They hated Weicker.

5. THANK YOU
for your efforts - man I wish we could get rid of him he is so disgusting. He didn't even have enough confidence in the Gore/Liebermn ticket to not run for Senate in 2000. Gore should have never picked this freak.
