To a person -- each tees off on (already deemed unfit) political and social figures.

They exhibit no imagination; nor do they use their considerable influence to expand the scope of their listenrs/viewers beyond their own personal rants ...and into the posibilities of what can be accomplished by an united poeple.

In my personal understanding, a true patriot adheres to the ideal that all voices are welcome and valuable in considering the course of our ship of state -- not just the predisposed & shrill naysayers.

...The price of gas has already cracked the veneer of Bush's infallibility (if the losses in Iraq hadn't).

The propagandists you're talking about deserve referrals on similar grounds to the International Criminal Court.
