Who will resign first & how long are the knives?
Edited on Tue Jul-15-03 01:58 AM by mgdecombe
My predictions:

Tenet, and when that doesn't work,

Condi, who was supposedly responsible for reviewing those 16 words,

Rummy, when the casualties exceed those prior to May 1

Then, if the kitchen gets reeeeeaaaalllly hot, Cheney. But he'll eventually take the boy chimp down with him.

Edit: spelling

1. I agree with your predictions.
When the kitchen gets hot, Cheney will resign due to health problems.

I have to tell you guys...I am LOVIN' this.

(reminds me of Watergate at microwave speed).

and Bush "has faith" in him. I think Condi will cause the least damage to Bush by being ex-scripted, so she'll be next.

Cheney might have a "health problem" which will cause investigations to whither away. Then Bush will be safe for awhile. Maybe Powell will take over as VP.

6. They want Condi to run for CA governor, anyway
the timing would be perfect.. She's not up to the job anyway.. Maybe she's good at translating what Breshznev said, but she's no "pip" on middle east ...

Tenet will slink into the background, and then decide to "spend more time with the family"...

Maybe Cheney will retire for health reasoons.. or maybe he's got plans to take over.. Remember how he ramrodded himself to the top of the list when he was hired to choose a vice president??

Bush is too vain and stupid to step down..:( He will be dragged out kicking and screaming..

2. The knives are very long
some are already stuck in and bloody.

I think Condy will go before Tennet though...

Tennet will follow

I'd say before Rummy goes, we will see Wolfie go... then Runny...

As to Chenney it truly depends how bad things get how fast he goes and whether he does it before any of these or after...

But I suspect there is a knife pointing his direction after the ABC story showing how deep his grubby hands are in this... I think it will depend on the 9.11 commision.

4. 5 dems were ripping up the world on C-Spann
shortly ago. Rahm Emanuel and Neil Abercrombie are
something else. They were joined by someone named
Hoeffel, a Washington state rep and someone else
who I didn't get. It sounded like setting up impeachment.

Lovely stuff.
