I've had similar problems tonight on a much smaller scale, where for a while I've been blogging just the names and faces and some personal background of the troops killed. Not even in a political way - if the family supports the war or opposes it, I don't include that, so it's just a sense of who the people were without the politics, without outside commentary. And a neocon chickenhawk on the same board started doing parodies of them, like it was sex ads. It's disgusting, and I can't imagine what a family member would feel if they googled one of their names to see where they were being remembered and came across that trash.

I know their new mantra is "We don't care" but I am having a hard time coming to terms with how it's even possible to just have no respect at all, no matter how much how agree with or disagree with the war itself.
