There local Military Families to join Cindy at Camp Casey
Ohio has been hard hit with grief from this * war.

Dayton, Ohio

Members of three local military families pack their bags and prepare to join a war protest outside the president's Texas ranch. They're heading to Crawford to join Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a fallen soldier, in her quest to talk with the president. Beth Lerman, Steve Fryburg and Deb Hagerman will spend five days with Sheehan outside President Bush's ranch. The anti-war headquarters is now named Camp Casey for Sheehan's son who died in Iraq.

Beth Lerman says several of her family members are in the military. And now, she's making the anti war movement just as personal. Lerman said, "The people who are in the military signed up to protect and serve The United States of America. And, I think it's very questionable now why we went into Iraq, and we're asking our people to give their lives for something they did not sign up for."

The Miami Valley trio is leaving Sunday and returning next Thursday. Their trip is being funded and supported by Military Families Speak Out and Gold Star Families for Peace.
