Joe Biden on Meet the Press 9:00 AM EST
I'm feeling masochistic today. As the Administration attempts to lower expectations, will he continue to hype them? More troops, anyone?

1. We must succeed in Iraq and leave a stable country behind
that is not a haven for terrorists, he says. There will be no liberal democracy. Some kind of representative government that isn't a threat to its neighbors. Republicans (Hegel etc.) agree with him.

22. Joe Biden, Joe Lieberman, Joe go Blow yourself! This is how
the Democrats lose the elections. When did Democrats become Republican Lite? Hillary, Biden, Kerry, Loserman, should sign background on Bush's "Stay the Course" single.

2. He disagrees, predictably, with Cindy Sheehan.
We must not withdraw. Equally predictably, he did not take the opportunity to praise her courage at confronting the Administration.

14. Yep.

He could've threw Mrs. Greenspans' snarky question back at her. Andrea asked the question and phrased it to sound like all Cindy wanted was to end the war. That is nothing but a RW talking point and completely evades the real reason why she's there.

Joe, she lost a kid in an illegal, immoral, war. The least you could've done is point that out. But of course, I'm sure your making money off this war too, so that would be counterproductive, huh?

Biden's just another reason why we must purge this shit from our party.

21. He'd never do that. He's a hawk.
He supports this war and is trying to find a way to not look foolish for doing so. Joe's been astraddle the fence for a while now and has lost his cajones long ago.

now finish the job in order to become safe.

11. Maybe he figures it's less damaging to merge parties rather than
switch. That way, he can market himself as innovator instead of a quisling.

7. The mouth that never closes continues to flow.
Somebody ought to give Joe a mike and a mirror, lock him in a closet, and make everybody happy.

19. You're right. Dean was against this war from the onset.
Me thinks that any politician in DC that still supports it has their hand in the "cookie jar". And a bloody hand, at that.

9. "Tell us Senator, are you running for President in 08"?
Senator very coyly responds...."Well, that 's still a ways off but I'm considering it..." Another political ad for Biden for President but people as a whole just don't take him serious for whatever reason...

10. He's been in red states to see if there's support for his Pres. candidacy.
He's encouraged by what he's seen. Maybe he should check first to see if there's any support in blue states.

12. Biden is a joke. He should have been voted out a long time ago.
Why he thinks he has a chance as being elected president is just amazing to me.

There are only three or four dems that if they took the nomination, I would just stay home and not even bother to vote. And I've voted in every election since I turned 21. Biden is right up there in that three or four.

But what the hell, I come from Nebraska. We have Ben Nelson. Luckily that clown doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of becoming a presidential nominee.
