"How low can these frustrated liberals sink?"
Have you heard the Pro John Roberts ad?

The narrator's snide tone making it sound as if he feels that liberals are some sort of social pariah?

Am I the only one getting tired of this crap?

What would the reaction be if there were ads questioning the intelligence of ID people? Of the anti-choice people? The list goes on.

Answer? They would go ballistic.

1. Sounds like a racist ad.
The Democrats should go ahead and start airing ads about all the GOP hypocrites who require photo ID, mandatory laws and profiling.

That's called racism: Call them on what they're good at.

2. It's a good thing
to have their side get ugly this soon. The chances of derailing his appointment may not be very good, unless the issues become divisive. So while I share your contempt for those who attempt to stifle debate in this way, I think it is important to provoke them to more such obnoxious outbursts, so the general public will come to share this contempt.

3. I've never understood why liberal is a bad thing to be.
They use the term as if it's a 4 letter word. Maybe we need billboards, bumper stickers and t-shirts that say "Proud Liberal."

4. I was going to post the exact same subject line.
That line was so unbelievable, I just busted out laughing. It sounded like he was trying to hold back (unsuccessfully) his rage at the EVIL LIBERALS.
