I don't buy it (cancellation of Anti-Sheehan protest)

I don't personally buy Evan's email re: cancellation, I think that it will happen anyway. Or be moved somewhere else. Etc.

I just don't trust osmeone who works for FOX NEWS RADIO (Evan Armstrong).

6. Clear Channel pro war rallies back b4 the war and soon after it

started had about 50 people show on a good day and this guy was one of them.



People aren't going to protest the mother of a dead soldier.

7. Believe it. I've been listening to as much right wing radio as I can

tolerate this week, and the negative response these hosts are getting on the subject of Sheehan is surprising. Only the most hardcore Bush sycophant is in line with mocking this mother of a dead soldier. It's just one of those "have you no decency?" lines.

These hosts will set up the subject for 15 minutes or so, then take calls. They get an almost non-stop stream of criticism from self-professed Republicans, ranging from "don't you think you're being unfair?" to "you're disgusting". They stop taking calls and either change the subject at the half hour mark, or monologue it for another 30-40 minutes afterwards.

I expect this station got alot of the same response.

8. I was a terrible tactic for them. It would escalate the crowds

and bring it more in to the medias attention. I'm not surprised it was canceled.
