Viet Nam: When did it go from a conflict to a war?
Has this current mess been identified accurately for the history books?

1. it was legally a police action till a recent way after-the-fact declaratio
in congress to recognize it as a war, if i recall correctly.

2. Congress never declared war so technically it wasn't a war, just
military action. The current mess is in the same state. Congress gave * the OK, but the Consitution says on congress can declare war.

The question may be how many soldiers die to make a war? I believe Golf War 1 was never declared by congress either.

3. My point is..Bush calls it war war war, so why isn't it?
