This refusal by shrubby to talk to Cindy has me thinking...
We have a "president" in office who represents less than half the population of our country and doesn't care. I am an American, pay my taxes, vote, yet I could not attend a "Bush rally" because of the bumperstickers on my car. I would not be allowed in.

If you don't "tow the party line" or (heaven forbid) dare to speak out against our administration they you are a traitor. You are considered by this administration as not worth recognizing because there is nothing that you can do for them. You are worthless.

My (our) taxes pay the salaries of these criminals we have in office. If I want to go and here "my employee" speak, I should be able to, shouldn't I? If I want to tell "my employee" what a fucked up job he is doing, I should be able to. If I want to fire "my employee" and hire someone else, we all should be able to...shouldn't we???

I am so sick of Bush I could scream.

Kegger at my house when this fucker is gone...

3. Looking forward to it.
I hope it's sooner than we think.:toast:

Maybe his reluctance to deal with the people will be an issue at his trial.

4. he'll set up his own Tianenmen Square, then a 2nd Reichstag Fire
He doesn't give a damn. The only thing that's going to stop him is when the military stops taking his orders (similar to how Haig stopped taking Nixon's orders).

5. every time I hear friggin Sean Hannity talk about someone's
incredible disrespect for "the President", I hear jackboots clicking together and " SIEG HEIL ! ". The President is not a KING or a DICTATOR, he is OUR employee as you said. We can respect the office but still criticize the resident of it.

8. i would have had here in saturday. wouldnt have been a tough
one. even if i didnt agree, i would let her talk, i would affirm my position. i would talk about her son and deaths of all of them. i dont care if it ended up in an hour meeting. wouldnt have been a tough one

my husband said the same.

this is just another stupid bush thing that he consistantly has done while in the whitehouse. always thru his own arrogance and superiority. any reasoned savvy person would have invited her, john conyers, and cleland in.

9. What would you do to an employee who
Trashed the company's good name
Gave away the store to his friends.
Broke all company records for unearned vacation time taken.
Refused to speak to his boss.
Lacked basic communication skills necessary for his job.
Threatened the competition with nuclear weapons.
Would not accept constructive criticism.
Disregarded company environmental standards.
and on and on and on

10. This is my BIGGEST problem with these people....
...corrupt politicians, regardless of their Party affiliation, ignore the fact that THEY work for US. The first time this administration truly made me sick to my stomach was after millions of people came together in cities around the nation in protest of the soon to be war in Iraq. Remember Bush's response? Remember his exact words? Here's a reminder:

"Size of protest — it's like deciding, well, I'm going to decide policy based upon a focus group,"

Last time I checked, MILLIONS of Americans was much more than a "focus group". I assume he uses this same "focus group" bullsh*t excuse when justifying his recent poll numbers...assuming his staff allows him to know about them.

By the way, this is my RSVP to that kegger...

11. In reality
Elected officials are temps. They are still employees chosen by Americans but managed by corporations.

What we need to do is convince people NOT to vote for anyone who receives money from corporations and lobbyists. This will have them listen to Americans and not multinational corporations who value no one.
