Missing black girl coverage? News producers already admitted racism

Latoyia Figueroa, a young BLACK pregnant woman with a 7 yold child, disappeared from her West Philadelphia neighborhood, a week and a half ago. Her case has received not even one fiftieth of the coverage of such notable non-blacks as Natalee Holloway or Laci Peterson.

In light of the fact, we point you all to our post of a few weeks back, in which we highlight examples of news producers actually admitting (anonymously) that they focus almost exclusively on white subjects in their stories. You'll encounter such nuggets as:

...were told outright that their stories needed to feature 'families with lots of blond-haired, blue-eyed children.'

and

"There's no profit in people of color."

to catch up with the Holloway story.

3. This story admits Figueroa has been covered, only 1/50th

of the time of the others.
I also saw something on the very early morning ABC news today.

is still talking about this story in mid-August (assuming she hasn't been found by then), we will eat our proverbial hat.
