The Sean Insannity show was playing at work today, and there was a right-wing vs. right-wing debate between Brent Bozell and Ann Coulter over whether or not John Roberts was a good judicial choice (Coulter is afraid he won't be rightwing enough!) At one point, she reminded Hannity and Bozell "we have the media now"! Is this the first time the right wing has admitted this? Some of them still spew their line about the "liberal media". Well, I guess Ann Coulter just blew their cover!

5. I think this needs to be researched...

...the audio pulled and made into a drop-in to be used on every Progressive radio show on the air. I think it needs to be in heavy rotation. It should play everytime some rightard pulls the "liberal media" lie. It should be burned on a chip and put on one of those keyfob player things that usually have fart noises and such on it. I knew one of those traitors would slip and admit the truth, and now that it's happened we should jump aaall over it.

but it requires becoming a "member" and paying $5.95 a month. It would be worth much more than that to get the Coulter quote, but I don't know if any of us want to give money to Insannity's website. I'm sure I'm not the only one that heard this today, though.

He said the network could not have orchestrated deadly bombings in London, Egypt or elsewhere from his country.

"Al-Qaeda does not exist in Pakistan any more," he told reporters in Lahore, after unconfirmed reports Pakistanis were being sought over bombs in Egypt.

Police in Egypt are not linking the missing men to Friday's Sharm al-Sheikh bombings, in which more than 60 died.

I regard the CNN amd MSNBC as rightwing.

I don't think Ann Coulter does.

I think she meant that between Fox News, rightwing radio, rightwing columnists like herself, the rightwing is loud enough that it doesn't matter whether CNN and MSNBC are rigthtwing or not.

There is no liberal equivalent to Fox News, as she knows.

Which is practically all of the mainstream media, if only for not calling the government on the lies that got us into this war.

An exception to that may be *a few* hosts who dared to be somewhat critical, most of who are gone now.
And then still - for instance Dan Rather was not CBS, he was merely *one* host at CBS.
Moreover, it is typically not the hosts or journalists who get to decide what is reported and what is not reported, but rather the editor, who in turn is accountable to the owner.
