Poll question: Are you hoping that Bush recess-appoints Bolton?
Edited on Mon Jul-25-05 03:59 PM by Goldmund
I sure as hell am.

Lately I've been in the mood for a fight with these assholes. I don't think I'm the only one -- I think that's becoming the overwhelming mood of the American Left.

I say, fuckers, bring it on! The more outrageously you behave, the more exposed your slimy underbelly.

5. How much harm do you think he'll be able to do?
He'll be there without the support of the Congress, with Bushco ripping at the seams. Credibility zero.

11. A lot.
In the eyes of the world he will be the official rep of the US...they don't necesarily care or know about our internal struggle.

14. Oh, I dunno about that
If by "the world" you mean the people of the world, 99% of them will never have heard of Bolton either way.

If you're talking diplomats, then they will be very familiar with the "internal struggle", especially after it boils over publically.

6. Can Bolton be placed when he is...
still part of an Investigation? Also, he lied to the Congress by saying on a document that he was not part of an investigation. He was interviewed by the Prosecution, thus he is part of the investigation. In my view he may have commited crimes in the Plame Case.

7. Absolutely.
Which is one of the main reasons I'm hoping BushCo goes the desperate route.

8. No. I am hoping that he falls while horseback riding when he is on
vacation. I fantasize that he will snap his neck. I fantasize that while he lays dieing he has visions of many people who have died from spinal cord injuries and diseases that may some day be curable with stem cell technologies.

I fantasize that he has a revelation, that stem cell research must proceed full speed ahead, with federal funding and with the blessing of his God.

I fantasize that he understands the despair of the people whose lives may have been saved or improved by contributions from stem cell technology.

I pray that he leaves this earth understanding the untold suffering and pain that he has caused.

But,, I will settle for seeing another picture of the asshole with a black-eye.

9. If he does, it's only until January...
In the meantime, Bush will get hammered in the polls. It's his, and the Republican party's, funeral.

13. January 2007.
Legally a recess appointment is good until the next Congress is formed.
