I loved it. The guests just cricified Bernie Goldberg and his book "100 people who are screwing up America".

It was refreshing to see this hater get beaten down . I dont know if it will be rebroadcast, but you hafta watch this. It was great.

4. Goldberg told this lady to SHUTUP

Deutsh was brutal. It was a gang of five guests who beat his right wing ass to smithereens. It was refreshing to watch the Foxnews style gangup go the other way for once. Goldberg left beaten and embarassed. It was freakin great!

8. I saw it. A few observations:

1. As nice as it was to see Goldberg slammed, Donny played into his hands by having 5 LW-ers there to attack him and no RW-ers to defend him. If I was a Faux News viewer I'd be saying "typical librul media gang up." I think one or two anti-Goldberg people would have been enough. It doesn't matter that it's usually the other way around. Liberals should be better than that.

2. Goldberg countered some of their points effectively, but only because they were unprepared. The fact that none of the guests had read the book was not good. They gave him easy outs to evade all of their questions - like when the one guest revealed that Goldberg had been on Faux "8 times in the last 18 days." Goldberg's simple answer - "I'd love to be on CBS, NBC etc, but they didn't invite me" - pretty much blew that point. It was an unprepared LW "gotcha" attack that didn't have any back-up points in case the first one got shot down. Maybe it's because these shows are often thrown together at the last minute and people don't have time to prepare.

3. Donny was really pissed off at this guy, which was good to see. What was missing were cogent points being made by his guests (except for the older blogger guy who attacked the book as not even being journalism - said attack mitigated by the guy's admission that he hadn't read it). He'd do better in the future to ask on a few LW heavyweights rather than peppering the show with celebrity/media types who don't get below the surface on many issues.

9. I'm really hoping this stupid book keeps Goldberg off my TV for

good. He's your typical white-ass, pompous blowhard who really doesn't know what he's talking about, and this book is so obviously biased it's pathetic. He didn't put Rush, Coulter or Hannity in his stupid book, so right there the damn thing is unbalanced - maybe he doesn't listen to those 3 people - yeah, right.

Goldberg is on Oreally tonight. He will be whining about how all the bad wiberals ganged up on him . It was Fox news reversed and looooong overdue. \
