Bush pushed up the nomination by nearly a month in order to take the focus off of TRAITORGATE. I personally think we should fight the Roberts nomination, but not in a way that distracts the media from covering Rove's, Cheney's and Libby's and Bush's TREASON!

This Scotus issue is not worth fighting about. Rehnquist will retire in a few months, or die soon. The NEXT choice will be the critical one. That is the one to filly-buster and defend against.

if Rove is on the ropes or gone, this White House will soon be precisely where the Clinton White House was just before they brought in David Gergen. WIthout his steady hand approach, without a quiet pro doing the public portrayal, the Clinton White House looked like it was at war with itself. Now, I don't trust Gergen or his personal politics much, but the Clinton White House was noticeably more professional and less a story in itself after he came. I think he allowed the true talent of Bill to come out.

What amazed me is how much Bill Clinton STILL accomplished, even though the GOP did everything in its power to destroy him. Truly amazing. Even Papa Bush recognizes that man for his talent and abilities.

That is why we go after the true snake, the evil brain, the Rove. Cut its proverbial heart out before this administration does even more damage to our country. It would be a mercy killing, politically speaking.

And that really disgusts me! I truly agree with Randy Rhodes that there needs to be a very high standard for what qualifies as news, and if a particular organization doesn't meet that, then they shouldn't be allowed to call themselves the news.

I'd also say most americans could focus on more than one story, but don't have the time or resources to go beyond the MSM, so they are stuck with the "story de jour".

So, to me, the issue that will come forth from the mainstream media is either:

a) Those dem's whining about another justice appointment.
b) Karl Rove is a treasonist bastard.

And this is infuriating to me, because politically the justice appointment is so much more important, but easier for the MSM to spin.

The only possibility some actual truth telling seems to be option b).

We can also make sure the Rove/Traitorgate story is front and center in every newspaper, blog, and on every TV and radio program.

In the end, this is the story that could bring down the Bushies once and for all...which would be the best thing, not just for the women, but for the whole freakin' world.

associate justice before his term is up, don't you?

To me, it makes more sense to push the Treason that the Bushies are guilty of, because it presents a real possibility of their removal from office. If Bush is forced to resign, or is impeached, he'll never be able to nominate another associate justice...in addition, these pukes in the house and senate are coming up for re-election in 2006. They're in big trouble for what they've done, including the schiavo debacle.


Getting rid of Bush and his evil minions is the best way to protect women's rights.


I respectfully disagree that the media should be focusing on the Roberts nomination right now. It doesn't make much sense to me politically, simply because that's exactly what the Bushies want us to do. That's why they moved up the nomination by more than a month---to take the media's (and the citizenry's) focus off of the treason that the administration is guilty of.

If we take the bait, Roberts could still be approved, and we could lose our best chance of removing those horrible criminals from office, and thus doing further damage to not only women's rights, but the future and safety of the whole world.

I think presently and in the near future, the Rove story has more immediate impact, the link with DSM is evidence that Shrub and CO. did many, many illegal things which could lead to a possible indictment and impeachment.

Roberts impact, which is serious if he's approved, will not likely effect things for some time.
