Is John Roberts a Stepford Wife?
I tried to google a picture of him, and there's only one I could find: his official scrubbed photograph. You would think a guy who had been such a successful and public lawyer would have more than a few pictures out there.

Anyone else have better luck?

1. Did you Google?
Google has been taken over by PNAC (new VP of Google is a PNACer). They are scrubbing everything as we speak.

The Internet is being censored, and in a very short time it will be completely taken over - no more free Internet. The Bushler government is implementing a lock-down.

6. Are you serious?
There are other search engines. Do you really believe that PNAC now "controls" Google? If so, this site is becoming loonier than I thought with the conspiracy theories.

10. Dan Senor may or may not be working for Google

A bit has changed since I last read about it. Dan Senor is working with Google, but we don't know exactly in what capacity.

Too Early to Google
By Judy Sarasohn

Thursday, June 16, 2005; Page A27

The blogosphere was agog and aghast in recent weeks about news that Dan Senor , former top spokesman for the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq and senior adviser to then-presidential envoy L. Paul Bremer, was joining Google. Hard copy reports that Senor was the new vice president for global communications were confirmed by a Google spokesman.

But it was not to be.

Google spokesman Steve Langdon acknowledged that "we were a little bit early to confirm." The buzz is now that Senor, an analyst for Fox News programs, may be setting up his own shop and talking to Google about providing "strategic advice."

Boycott Alert: Make Google Say Uncle

(snip)

A former Senior Associate at the Carlyle Group, Senor was briefly Scott McLellan's deputy as White House spokesman before becoming head of the the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq's information department. The White House web site bills him as Senior Advisor to Presidential Envoy L. Paul Bremer III. Fox News hired Senor as a panelist in February. While in Iraq Senor showed his loyalty by going jogging in a Bush-Cheney '04 tracksuit.

Not everyone is impressed.

"I have come to associate his triangular, brush-cut head with an unceasing stream of bullshit. He's Ari Fleischer without the charm," writes one grump. "Hiring this guy is a repulsive move."

An impressive resume, for sure, but one perhaps more useful to a company building a military task force than a search engine. And it'll be fascinating to see the reaction of the French, with whom Google is locked into some extremely sensitive negotiations, to Senor's brand of special diplomacy.

Edit: Haven't you noticed how hard it is to find certain articles or photos via Google lately? I have. I use Google every day looking for juicy photos to vandalise, but I've noticed things disappearing from Google, but when I find my bookmarks, the websites are still there, including the photos.

Don't write this off as some sort of "loony conspiracy theory" just yet. Check it out for yourself and be very attentive... if you care to bother.

2. I don't know, but last night...
he looked like a deer caught in the headlights. This guy is so baby-faced and innocent looking. The thing to remember is he's only 50. He could be on the bench for the next 30 years or so. I think that in itself requires a real close look at his politics.

4. Remember how the far right criticized John Edwards
for having a pretty baby face? When the pretty baby face is one of theirs, they change their story.

That's enough for me to know that this guy is Gonna' SUCK!

He was also the assistant of Kennith Starr (Yes, Clinton's Muck Raker, Ken Starr)!

NPR had a great "Who is Roberts?" news clip today, here's the link:

Listen to this story (on-line at the link above)

by Nina Totenberg

9. what's not to like for conservatives.....
at least the ones who want no woman
access to safe and legal abortions, no
due process for prisoners, one of their
own who has worked legally to stop a presidential recount
in Florida, who knows what under Ken Starr,
is a kind of Christian who wants Christianity
inserted into all areas of American life.
And they look like a clean Stepford family,
not ugly and porny like Scalia or Thomas.
