Poll question: Which ticket would spur your interest more (Clark/Dean or Dean/Clark)?
I know of course there are 8 others out there and you may have your favorite but just imagine for a minute Either one of these got the nomination

Personally I can't quite make up my mind yet. Originally I thought Dean/Clark but now It seems the General could have what it takes to take the front office but in that case...would Dean be gracious enough to take the VP position?

Questions Questions...

1. Neither, based on interest.
Neither spurs my interest to begin with. If I had no other choice, I'd choose Dean and leave Clark off the ticket.

Fortunately, I don't have to. There are candidates who do generate interest with me.

Well I'm glad to know at least you'd hold your nose and vote for Dean.

I can't say I blame you for wanting Clark off the ticket.

6. I'll hold my nose and vote for whoever gets the nod.
Although, I have to say I understand and relate to those who stay home on election day because the choices don't give them any hope.

2. Fairly limited choice.
How about Dean and someone else who has been mucking about the "Hill" for half their lives.

5. Dean-Kerry would be good
I don't think a Dean-Kucinich ticket would be so hot, but maybe a Dean-Edwards one.

This assumes that Dean wins the nomination. Remember, the GOP wants Dean as our standardbearer, which probably means they've got some shit ready to pull out and throw. Edwards might pose a problem, though: he is everything Bush is not (intelligent, attractive, self-made, drug-free, fluent in English) and he'll have just about as much elected experience as Bush did when Bush was installed.

The harshest thing they could do to Edwards is to pull out the small-town doctor Edwards put out of business. Also the best thing, because he'd finally get a chance to pull out the piece of artillery he didn't get a chance to use against Lauch the Pig Baron--an ad explaining the severe malpractice committed by the doctor he put out of business. IIRC the MD killed a kid.

7. The GOP says exactly the opposite of what they want
The fact that they keep saying how they want Dean probably means that they are scared to death of him. Either that or they are just setting the stage for rigging the election, just like in 2002.

8. Dean and Clark supporters are smiling and the rest are
moaning;)I'm a firm Dean supporter who loves the fact that Clark entered the race. I would prefer a Dean/Clark ticket but a Clark/Dean ticket will also do great. I love how us Dean and Clark supporters are giving each other the wink wink.

;);)

9. Dean at the top of the ticket because of his executive experience.
The majority of Presidents elected (or otherwise in Junior's case) in the last 30 years have been former governors. Obviously Dean's chances are better than Bob Graham's, and that doesn't seem likely to change.

Being a 4 star general and NATO commander is an executive position, but of a different sense altogether. Reality is that George Bush Junior never worked a day in his life in any job his father didn't buy for him, but 'Pukes are hypocrites and they will turn General Clark's lack of political experience against him if he is at the top of the ticket. They can't do that with Dean, and after all their recent charges of Clark being a "Republican", it would be hard to paint a Dean/Clark ticket as "too liberal".

12. Neither.
I think Clark is the real deal and I'd hate to see him run with just another political phony.

I like a Clark/Edwards ticket.
