| his jaw is grinding furiously today |
|
i love all his facial tics, the licking, the pursing, the mugging, smirking, the crooked smile, the sneers, the jutting and the leaning forward, what a chorus of monkey body language.
but man o man, many of us have noticed the bizarre new jaw grinding motion. it's beginning to worry me.

| 3. Of course---we are all just as concerned about... |
|
...the behaviors and actions of the new orangutan at the Omaha zoo.
That is what you are describing, correct?
Please don't worry. The zookeepers are just as concerned as you are. They're planning on using a combination of tranquilizers and behavior modification.
I know it's upsetting--especially the jaw grinding--but it takes some time to adjust to a new cage.
