Morning Sedition

Today on Morning Sedition, David Cole, professor of Constitutional Law at Georgetown University, and author of "Enemy Aliens: Double Standards and Constitutional Freedoms in the War on Terrorism," calls Marc and Mark to discuss Bush's Supreme Court nominee. Later in the show, Paul Thompson, author of "The Terror Timeline" joins Marc and Mark in studio for a discussion about: the connection between Pakistani Intelligence and Al Qaeda, along with some "curious" military exercises that not many people know about which took place on 9/11, one of which was called "Practice Armageddon". Plus, Tony Shalhoub, Emmy and Golden Globe winning star of "Monk" calls the two distinguished gentlemen from New York to chat.

I'm back home already. Unfortunately, it was very brief and we didn't get a chance to talk about 9/11 military exercises. I talked mostly about the connection between the London bombing and the orange alert from last year. Most of the info for that I got from DU, actually.

I have to admit, I was a bit ticked off yesterday when I heard the promo for your appearance - they said that your appearances bring out the nutty callers (specifically, the woman talking about aliens). I wish they wouldn't frame your efforts in that light.:(
