Is wishing that Eric Rudolph get's killed in prison bad?
I grappled with that for about 3 seconds and decided NO to that question.

4. I don't believe the prison population should decide punishment.
I don't think it makes you bad. But I'd rather wish the jails worked better, and getting killed or raped wasn't a sotr of "bonus punishment", if you will, in US prisons.

6. What bothers me * sometimes * is how it's generally accepted that
once sent to prison, the worst offenders will get taken care of by the prison population. That doesn't sound like a civilized justice system to me, yet, there are some scumbags who don't deserver life.

Color me conflicted

morals then no - I don't believe such a system exists.

'Bad' in the American system?...probably.

And the one that matters to me: It is 'bad' in that I put substantial faith in our legal system and trust its outcomes to a degree. And I believe this outcome is reasonable.

Therefore, all has worked sufficiently enough and I think it is 'bad' to wish extra punishment upon him.

24. It's an expected reaction
I've felt that way on occasion, but I recognize it for what it is. An emotional reaction to the horrible things he's done.

What bothers me is that this guy justifies every act as being what god wants. He'll never feel an ounce of remorse for his crimes. He'll never even consider that there are better ways than violence to fight what he sees as a wrong.

28. A lot of folks think that what Rudolph did wasn't "bad" either.
In their eyes (and, his), he was righteously murderering murderers that they wished dead.

What would be your justification?
