Wow its like the sky just opened up and now is POURING rain..
from the hurricane now here in memphis... is just like the sky opened up.. they said that we were going to get 12 inches of rain but they are backing away from that now.. but its down pouring now...

We were originally told we'd get 5-6 inches, now it's down to 1-2.

But, as it's been so dry here, we'll take what we can get.

6. We Might Miss Out...My Lawn Mourns
I was hoping this would be one of the few big storms that would sneak up the Misssissippi and dump some much needed rain here in Chicago.

Plus that way I can tell my Florida friends "hey, I survived Dennis, too". Yeah, right.

We could definitely use even 12 inches of rain up here...it's been very dry.

Latest predictions here is "showers". I feel ripped off. LOL

We've had almost no rain in 40 days or so. It's bone dry here and the air is stagnant today. Ugh!
