White Women, Sharks, And Terrorist Attacks

A thought occurred to me that this is the second time that a major terrorist attack has occurred when the US media has focused its attention on missing white women and shark attacks.

Now if I were a crazy, tin-foil hat conspiracy nut, I might think that this was more than just a coincidence.

But I think the real issue is that maybe if the national US media would stop focusing on these trivial issues and did some real investigative journamalism, and if our own government had policies that were based in something other than fantasy, there would be less terrorist attacks.

But that's just me, I guess.
