Another STUPID comment from the right on C-SPAN this AM re: London blasts
Edited on Thu Jul-07-05 01:06 PM by BurtWorm
A caller to Washington Journal on the winger line this morning said, "This shows that 'president' Bush is doing exactly the right thing, or they wouldn't be making these kinds of attacks."

:wtf:

So if no one is getting killed in Central London, we should be worrying that we're not fighting the "war on terror" the way we should be?

:wtf:

3. Well, hell, using that logic, he must have been doing the right thing
on 9/10/01 too or they wouldn't have attacked us right?

5. Oh my God, like does it HURT to be that stupid??????
SERIOUSLY!! How do people like that manage to cross the street without being run over by a car?

I am not kidding, that's ALL THEY'VE GOT???

They know. They HAVE to know their president is a fucked up bastard who fucks up everything he touches, everything he even THINKS of touching.

Otherwise they wouldn't see fit to twist themselves into such illogical contortions to justify his fuckedupedness!

HOW DOES IT SHOW HE'S DOING THE RIGHT THING?

Here's what it tells me:

1. Al-Queda is ALIVE AND WELL, far from crippled. London isn't exactly soft on security, they've been at this longer than we have.

2. IF IT CAN HAPPEN IN LONDON, IT CAN HAPPEN HERE AGAIN. EASILY.

3. bush's little "war on terror" is doing nothing but GROWING TERROR.

THAT is what today's explosions tell ME.

13. FUCK,
seriously! It has GOT to hurt to be that stupid! It does!

Do they even HEAR themselves??? Like someone else on this thread said, I guess September 11th is the ULTIMATE proof that he is a wonderful daddy and protects us all! Al-Queda is so scared of bush's incredible effectiveness that they have to kill people a lot! In fact, bush is so successful at beating back al-Queda that al-Queda has GROWN and is MORE POWERFUL!

In what world does that make sense?

Ooooo, it's a good day to smack someone. Too bad there's no one around who would let me.

Then I'd be arrested and it'd be a big ol' mess.

They ain't worth it. But they still need to be smacked. A LOT. Till something rattles into place in their pointy heads.

Edited on Thu Jul-07-05 01:26 PM by Union Thug
This isn't about security or 'winning'...it's about maintaining power.. So the RW spindoctors have cooked up the ultimately WIN-WIN batch of Republican crack for popular consumption. It doesn't matter if attacks continue endlessly or if they cease entirely, either way, you claim victory!

15. Oh Daddy! Daddy! Save me! Protect me from the evil
brown-skinned boogeymen!

I know you can protect me because you proteckticated the US on September ele........well, you SAID you were gonna proteckticate us AFTER THAT and YOU DID by attacking those NASTY IRAQIS!! YAY!!!!!

And so now it's IRAQIS who are getting blown up and not us! Way to proteckticate us daddy!!

And ok, so London got blown up a bit! Well, hey it WASN'T THE US!!! So YAY DADDY BUSHY!!!!!!

This doesn't make any sense, but if I think about it too much it'll hurt my pointy widdle head Daddy! So in order not to hurt my pointy head, I am just going to think to myself "YAY DADDY BUSHY! ONLY LONDON GOT BLOWN UP BECAUSE YOU ARE SO SUCCESSFULATED!"

:sarcasm:, rich and creamy.

26. We have to fight them over there
so Tony Blair can fight them over in London instead of us fighting them here. Unless of course they attack us here. If that happens then it will just show how right Bush was all along. That makes sense, doesn't it?

19. Spoonfed plausible deniability
They can't use common sense because then the veil falls and they realize they have contributed to the situation the world is in. They instead are fed talking points daily to maintain their denial. Thanks to Rush & Hannity they sleep well at night. Hell it is easier than facing the truth.

Edited on Thu Jul-07-05 01:28 PM by Feles Mala
how often Washington D.C. was bombed? And during the Civil War, it was all troops in D.C. could do to keep confederacy at bay as Richmond was burned to the ground.

23. Yep. When there are no attacks, it's because Great Leader
is preventing them with his policies. When there are attacks, it means that we're fortunate to have him protecting us in these dangerous times.

You can't win with these psychos.
